Each course is planned over three training days, with 15 hours of guided learning, demonstrations, and practice. Taking both courses gives you six training days and 30 guided training hours.

This is the proposed course format. RCS will confirm your training dates, venue, and final timetable before booking. The two courses can be scheduled together or on separate dates, subject to availability. Meals, travel, and accommodation are not included.

Where and when does training take place?
Training is arranged directly with RCS Vancouver. The proposed format is three days per course, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Pacific time each day, including a one-hour lunch and two 15-minute breaks. We'll confirm your venue, training dates, and final timetable before booking. If you're travelling, please wait for confirmation before making travel arrangements.
Do I need previous installation experience?
Tell us about your experience when you enquire. We can discuss whether you're starting from the basics or building on existing detailing, film, or trades experience, and confirm a suitable training plan.
Can I take just one course?
Yes. PROSHIELD is a separate course at $5,900 CAD. Window Film + Security Film is a separate combined course at $5,900 CAD. Book both courses together for $9,800 CAD, a $2,000 saving. All prices are per person, plus applicable taxes.
Does training include certification or dealer rights?
This is practical installation training from RCS. Tuition does not grant an RCS franchise, an exclusive territory, or manufacturer accreditation. Any product purchasing requirements, dealer approval, or warranty registration requirements will be discussed separately.
What types of film are covered?
The PROSHIELD course focuses on stone protection film. The Window + Security Film course covers residential and commercial flat glass, including solar, privacy, decorative, and security applications. Vehicle tint and smart film are outside these course outlines. Security film and attachment methods must follow the relevant product and glazing specifications.
How do I book, and what are the payment terms?
Send a training enquiry with your preferred course and dates. RCS will confirm the training plan, venue, dates, final timetable, invoice, payment schedule, and cancellation or rescheduling terms in writing before you commit. Your place is confirmed once those arrangements have been accepted and the required payment has been received.
